ABOUT CRACKAROO
WHO IS CRACKAROO?
An American at heart and soul music producer, currently based in Europe.
What made me want to embark on this journey in the music industry, was the ability to share the music I make and be in the same room together with like minded individuals from the creative tribe. The trance, the bubble reality you experience with someone while working on a song creating it right then and there. That’s the real treasure of choosing this path. Traveling the world and making memories, while giving back to the world by sharing the music created in the process.
This is why I love collabing, we are not meant to be isolated beings and if the energy matches the magic happens.
The people who share a studio with me have the misfortune of dealing with an encyclopedia of movie knowledge, ready to be released in form of random quotes and impersonations.
That same love for movies and television is what gravitated me towards the sync licensing direction as well.
Most musicians, whether artists or producers are real weirdos and I’m definitely not an exception.
WHY ROOSTERS MASTER WAYNE?
The rooster is all about waking people up and moving forward with confidence.
Roosters look funny when they move, but they are also fearless when they fight.
We live in a time where our flaws are being overexposed and self criticism and it’s resulting analysis paralysis is holding people back on their journeys.
A rooster would not hold himself back just because he is not “perfect” yet, but rather run head first towards his goal and improve as he’s on the journey. That’s what we can adept from them.
So it’s time to get up and get going, not being so serious and self punishing to ourselves all the time.
Roosters look funny when they do anything, just like I look as whacky as I do. Many artists and producers hold back, out of fear of looking ridiculous, but they sure as hell will never look as ridiculous as me. Maybe this will help them lighten up a bit and move forward.
I’m going about entertaining people and making music, just like a rooster. Running head first as flawed and imperfect as I am and maybe waking some people up in the process.
The rooster is one of the necessary spirit animals in the 21st century.
MY MUSICAL CREATIONS
The genres I listen to reflect the music I am generating. Moments of inspiration hit me from songs all over the place, which is why my musical direction goes multiple ways.
It could just as much be a Jimmy Durante song from the 60s, a Nirvana song, Britney’s 2000s hits or Kendrick Lamar in the 2020s, who invoke that urge to get up and create a piece of music from a feeling right then and there.
From a mean hiphop beat meant for a gritty bassy voice to a cotton candy type RnB or pop song sang with a sweet innocent voice. The pallet of created instrumentals has always been pretty widespread.
At first the listening habit of scattered genre hopping seemed like a cursed taste, because it was universally preached to go lock in on one genre and develop a distinct sound. Over time it revealed itself to be a blessing in disguise, being able to work with people with such different energies and perspectives. It helps to live the music making process in a plethora of ways and each genre can help to improve elements from another genre.
